Welcome to 2015!

How are you going to live this year when it comes to your health? Are you going to make New Year’s resolutions about improving your skin, your weight, removing toxins from your body, addressing blood pressure issues, and other health issues you want to address? Well that’s all fine and dandy, but after the dust settles and daily life gets in the way, we all know what happens with new years resolutions.

The first thing is to not create a laundry list of the things you’d like to accomplish in 2015.   That is a recipe for failure.   Choose one or two key health issues or goals and then start on the road to working on improving yourself.   Doing so, will allow you to not only improve your health, but will also give you the sense of achievement.

Let’s start 2015 by improving our skin

First and foremost, it’s important to have a daily regimen of washing your face and body with a mild facial and/or body wash. Next, apply facial and body creams that will deeply hydrate your skin. Using the products that are household names, unfortunately in many cases, will dry out your skin. Make sure these products will also help retain the moisture you already have in your skin. Look for products that contain a hearty helping of essential oils such as coconut oil, shea butter, aloe vera, vegetable glycerin, and other skin enhancing oil.

If your goal is to fight aging skin, use a product that not only offers the essential oils as mentioned above, but also offer skin cell regeneration, micro lifting, anti-inflammatory properties and improve your skin tone.  A good day cream, night cream or anti-aging cream will help you achieve your goal. Whatever your skin goal might be (anti-aging, dark spots & skin lightening, acne care), make sure the product you choose tones, hydrates, nourishes your skin with essential oils and vitamins, and has the proven ingredients that will safely address your specific skin care concerns and help you meet your 2015 goal to improve the health of your skin.
